week 34.....where are my feet?

i have totally lost touch with or have forgotten about:
bending over
my feet
the cat (because she is only 1 foot high)
the ground
gardening
bugs that crawl (i don't miss this though)
getting out of bed with out having to roll
getting out of a chair by myself
there are many more things i miss but there are so many things i love like:
making my tummy a drum
waddling (really really fast)
the dreams
the super cute shoes that are only an inch long!
not much to say for this week just the same ole same ole......paul is busy putting in molding in the dining room
and we are getting a dining room table this weekend so we might be able to eat at a table (though i am a walking table with my own personal tv tray, i measured the belly ledge when i am sitting it is about 2 inches)
we are actually going to pack the hospital bag this week
i have been told by the nurses at the hospital that we can bring music to listen to.....so i am bring talking heads, for some odd reason this pregnancy has been all about listening to the talking heads it actually calms her down so why not?
we got a great little gift in the mail from my aunt heidi, little botties and a hat she knitted!
we are packing the little hat for the hospital. hopefully this time next week we will be painting our bookshelves!
paul is busy putting the finishing touches on and its only one more weekend and all should be done.
think that is all to report.
i go back to the doctors on monday for them to play find the baby, really they are just going to figure out how she is sitting and if she has dropped, which hasn't because i still can not breath.
tonight is my last day of school! until september i am super happy about that!!!!!!
see how happy!
until next week......
remember SHOWER MAY 19th!!!!

week 33......times they are a changin'

only one month and two weeks!
we are ready well sort of we think we are getting ready which is a good thing. we bought a shrub.....that in some ways is a good way to get ready for a baby plants right?
why worry about a nursery when really all a baby needs is a good shrub.
so what has been going on the last week......
first the shrub....its not a hemlock (no worries meloyde) its a little arborvitae which is super cute and green! and we have two!
this week than i get to sit around in a lounge chair sipping lemonade with a bull horn and watch aaron plant all our new happy plants.....i discovered this week that bending over to garden is not going to happen until maybe july so i have the hubby to help out (he just bought some crocs so he is now ready to play in the dirt)
the baby is kickin' strong and my new favorite hobby is playing my tummy....when she sits a certain way i get a really neat hollow sound sort of like bongos so i like playing the tummy and making the sound occasionally she will play back my hitting my hand with her foot.
the house is moving forward paul and aaron have finished the major construction of the bookshelf!
here they are happy and ready to buy more power tools!
i will contract them out for a small fee.....they are very entertaining to watch.....

the nursery is coming along the mural has been started and will be a work in progress hopefully until she is ten years old and decides the room needs to be painted black because she is expressing her artistic side. we have received a wonderful cradle that was hand carved by danny which will be in next weeks baby blog issue.
frankie has taken to her new little faux sherpa bed which took a lot of work but we are establishing cat baby boundaries now hoping for a peaceful and happy house in june.
baby gear: finally decided on a car seat.....there has been much talk about car seats....but one rainy day the car seat occurred and all problems have been solved
thanks grandma & granpa bristol! aside from that nothing more and nothing new just takin' one day at a time waddling through life as i keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger........
this week its a little more of the same: bec is slowing down.......and ready for all things baby because she really misses being able to bend over and pick things up off the ground!
DO NOT forget if you are reading this than you are invited to the best, biggest, bocce ball, baby, brats, cook out!!!!!
MAY 19TH!!!!!
please let us know if you are coming so that we will have enough food....there will be pregnant people in the crowd and well you have heard how they like to eat.
