ok....i know i am like so super slow at keeping things updated
but here i am writing and letting you know how things are
we are still functioning with a kitchen in the heat
we are actually using the dishwasher A LOT and trying hard to clean up the last remnants of construction dust....but that may be dust from lets thin perhaps several construction projects ago....
still working....and loving me new job
lots of work but it is nice to actually be using my degree, experience and actually some artistic vision ALL at the same time
everyone is slowly getting adjusted to the schedule...sadie and silas still ask daddy where mommy is hiding all the time but they are getting better or at least use to it
so... the fourth what did we do....
we hung out and sort of took it easy
we went to bratenhal to see the fireworks
sadie loved it and oh'ed and aw'ed through everyone (i think she believed the fireworks were for her and no one else - think Cinderella princess)
silas - that was a different story - he was so totally excited till the first big boom went off....so he hugged his daddy real tight and they ran back to the car where bubby hugged his little plastic shark saying over and over again "fireworks go" "fireworks scare bubby"
so we won't be doing anything with fireworks until next year
we did grill out and walk in the neighborhood parade....but honestly these little kidlets have been so tired with running and playing, and smiling that they really just wanted to stay home and relax......that is the reason we took it easy (for that weekend)
hope everyone is doing well (i will try and tell you about this past weekend because it was WAY to much fun......we went to an airshow!!!)
