we still have children

i know all the posts have been kitchen this and kitchen that
but sadie and silas are still thriving under all the construction debris
they may end up being contractors...i think watching the hole be created in the side of the house was enough to make any kid giggle...i mean utter destruction at its finest
but this has been hard
we try to get out of the house as much as possible so Frank and Dennis can be creative with the sledge hammer
so both kids are wiped out....i mean totally wiped out

ok....this is it!
we have a window
we have counter tops picked out, we have cabinets we are almost there
today was CRAZY!!!!! we had a hole in the side of the house, people cleaning gutters, fixing our siding and ripping out more walls in the kitchen but the beauty is there and wonder of creation is just within the 2x4's
it is possible and we could not of done it without Frank and Dennis!!!!
two of the most creative and hard working people we have ever meet!
and yes during ALL of this we have started a list of what we will be doing next....
bathroom in basement and doors off the dining room to outside!
this house is going to be a magic tour on the mysterious bus if we are not careful....

kitchen...you can actually see the future

the kitchen is getting a frame!

so yes we are still living in utter chaos but.....
there is progress. the counter is now being framed in and you can start to see what it will look like
don't know if i mentioned this before since we have gone through 4 different counter top ideas...but we are getting marble counter tops
the fun thing about using what other people have in the basement ..... you really never know what you are getting till the last minute!
