Week 20

well we got a live one!
she is a kicker. aaron loves to zerbert my belly and get her kickin' he finds this very very fun, becky on the other hand likes it when her insides are not being used as a punching bag, the scary thing is she is still super tiny, remember 8 oz. so when she becomes 7 lbs what than?
we have been thinkin' of names:

what have we been up to..........
here's the run down:
still working on the house we are ready to rip out the dining room floor (long story
but lets just say our house was owned by a biker gang called the "animals" in the 70's) , the nursery is almost empty and some of the walls are starting to get patched which is good thing here's some pictures, we did get new windows so we are on our way!

how will this room look like a nursery in several months?
no fears.....aaron and becky have become masters at doing a lot with very little and this room is going to have a mural that would make Michelangelo blush.
the idea is bright and happy, we are going to paint grass in a celery green (bright green) and a bright blue sky,


on one wall will be a large leafy oak tree with primary color birds sitting in the tree and flying about the entire room, red, yellow, orange birds! the ceiling will be a darker color blue with gold and silver leaf stars over lapping clouds and a big bright yellow sun.
it will be a fun room and we will take pictures as it slowly becomes a room and not a mess.

undercover secret agent pod revealed

yesterday was a big day for us we learned all about the baby
the following are a bunch of pictures of HER!
yup we are having a little baby girl she has all her fingers and all her toes and she has a big brain! so you know she follows after her mom. she was super active and shy she keep kicking mom well the camera chased her around. it was incredible to see her little heart beating, and watch her little legs kicking. she is only 8oz which is the size of a small coke bottle.

after the ultrasound aaron and becky decided to celebrate so we went to art museum to see the barcelona exhibit which was crowed but lots of fun. we than went to the tavern company and got a hamburger and fish fry YUM YUM!
baby girl loves fish fry. our exciting day was not over though we went shopping......



we bought a crib! so now she has a house, next we need the car, the cell phone and a job right?
the next big question asked is have we registered yet......nope
we will soon.....still trying to figure out what actually is needed. we did go to baby-r-us last friday and that was scary everything needed batteries or a power source, and for what i am not sure except that all chairs, cribs, things that swing play music, have lights, and vibrate. no wonder children have ADHD i don't think its from TV i think its from baby-r-us.....so with that aaron and becky have been on the mission to find the simple things in life like wood products? so if anyone out there knows of some good links to some plastic free, manually operated toys, swings, please let us know.
we have started a wish list at oompa toys because really babies are about toys nothing else right? when you get to the site you can see the wishlist under the name "bristol" but check the site out real neat stuff...and all primary colors......we are hoping to go with the primary color scheme for the little pod and nothing pink or frilly though a nice pink tool belt would be cute (thanks grandma bristol for the idea)
we have found and would love a SVAN bouncer chair a little pricey but guess what no batteries are necessary......
so the shopping adventure will continue until than stay tuned her is a picture of her little heart:

week 17 - the comparison

So now that is out of the way lets begin with week 17:
this week mom and dad to be celebrated x-mas in grand style, sitting on the couch reading books and watching the christmas story.
becky got the best presents this year maternity clothes and power tools! yup mom to be got a sander!
we were asked several times about names so here is a non-exhausted list of names (remember though on jan 4, we learn the sex so one list will be eliminated this is sort of like a game show)

if we forgot any or anyone has any additions please let us know we are not set on anything and aaron thinks that after becky delivers the baby and she is passed out from exhaustion that he will get to name the baby whatever he wants

fun fact story of the week:
the one thing they forget to tell you about being pregnant is the dreams so far i believe i can talk to the cat, and i have had some interesting dreams so i am here to share:

coffee drinking lederhosen baby
the dream started out as any other in a film of fog opening to a city scene. we were a family with a new born baby. we made our living off of hijacking cars and stealing money, not bad at least its for profit, anyways our little son who is actually very little about 6 inches high really wanted to go with mom and dad on their next high jack so after feeding the baby coffee in a baby bottle and securing his lederhosen we the happy family ventured out into the city streets and high jacked a car.
end of story
the odd part is actually visualizing a 6 inch baby wearing lederhosen
