week 22 and someone knows the letter A

so what does one due during the break in class?
yes you guessed it one updates the blog
what is happenin' in the wonderful world of cleveland
the weather is getting chilly, the leaves are starting to change colors, and night time starts before bath time which means our walk to the beach are limited to before dinner time
sadie is doing alright with these changes so far.....
though she is complaining about ALL the clothing especially socks
yup our little girl HATES socks
omen #2 is kickin' non stop and the good thing is he is kickin' lots during the day so we may have one person in the family who logically can define the difference between night and day but we shall see.......
went to the pumpkin patch and sadie took a hay ride and picked a few little green pumpkins
than ate lots of amish cheese and called after the farm dog
we had a special visitor come say hi to sadie over the weekend
bill read her a few books and sadie listened so happily to everything he said......
have held off doing any more work on the house for the time being
been to busy......
the new job is going well and its keeping me super busy which is good
keeping me out of trouble right?
anyways my break is over so this is the short sweet update on our life
enjoy the fall foliage and cool nights sleeping
ps. sadie's new favorite activity helping mom with the dishes, she prefers the water to be on the warm side but she is actually very good at splashing......

pssssss......the bunny is one of mimi's creations to the mural that sadie gives kisses to every morning and eve.....
"wats that?"

kiss kiss.....

week 21 omen #2 - 15 months omen #1

okay before you start saying...omen is that like from the horror movie......lets take a look at wikipedia and really learn the definition of omen....
"An omen (also called portent or presage) is a phenomenon that is believed to foretell the future, often signifying the advent of change"
so we got two little advents of good change in our life.....
thus omen #1 and omen #2
so what have all the little omens been up to.....
lets see omen #2 has found his kickin' legs
and like his sister thinks my bladder is a punching bag
which is great especially when i am in class and get up twice in 1/2 n hour to go to the bathroom
he has finally started to show his true self by pushing my belly out and making his presence known
so that shy little boy hiding behind his umbilical cord is nothing more than another kooncol - (our last names combined)
he will be kickin' and singing in no time
PS i still have ankles!!!!!
omen #1 has really found use for words
she loves singing the alphabet granted they all are meshed together into an odd form but she differently has the melody down right
both sadie and i had the COLD last week thanks aaron.....
so we have been crabby and unmotivated
which for sadie means she is really super snuggly which is great to have a person sweater wrapped around you ALL the time
the temp is dropping here and it really feels like fall
no more short sleeved shirts we have broken out the sweaters and long sleeved shirts
sadie still is not a fan of lots of clothing usually tugging at everything with disgust
we are hoping to go get pumpkins and apples this weekend and look for the fall foliage
this is my favorite time of year...though this typically does mean exams which i am not a fan of....but i did find out i could possibly graduate dec 2009 if no one givesme grief about taking a week off to deliver during spring semester
anyways my friend jeanne sent me the funniest story the other day (sorry jeanne have to share)
so here it is:

"Oh, I thought of Sadie the other day, our lovely dogs stole one of Kristof’s new elmo slippers. Totally destroyed. Anyway, outside playing the other day I came across one of elmo’s eyeballs stuck in the mud. It was facing upward such that it looked like he was buried and just one eye was sticking out. It was very morbid and for some reason my first thought was, good thing Sadie didn’t come across this."

This story had me laughing for hours b/c i can not imagine what sadie would do if she ever saw or witnessed the destruction of elmo. yes she is still totally into elmo though grover is becoming a close second. We had many great comments about the garage so here is the actual inside of the garage:

the outside: (notice the leaning features)

and aaron on the roof:

well that is all for this week
i start my new job on monday wish me luck!
enjoy the fall colors

CRISIS!!!!!!
in need of elmo tappin tunes book, sadie has played it till it was broken and now i can not find another copy. originally i got it at target please oh please for my mental well being if you see a copy purchase it or let me know!

so sadie is having a baby brother or sister?

but here is the belly shot for week 20......
you have to read the whole post in order to find out the answer
did not want to leave everyone waiting to hear the news.....
but it has been hard to update ALL the computers are down for the count
can't get on line at work....so i am sitting at my other office the coffee shop downstairs
the home computer went to doctor FFR to get a check up
looks like the motherboard may have a slight cough either that or a dust bunny actually started to reproduce inside the system
either way.....
so this entry will lack any visual stimuli for the moment meaning no new cutie pictures of sadie but if you need a sadie fix there are about 3000 you can look at at www.bristolarts.com/sadie
house update:
aaron and paul did a great job on the garage roof
they got up there and tore of the old roof which was crumbling more than anything else and put up new wood, tar, tar paper and even fascia! so it looks like a real lean too.....
they even did a little work on the inside and built a bar, put in some lighting really spruced it up
thank you guys for doing such a great job!
though now aaron is home very very sick he got THE cold
not sure what cold this is floating around the greater cleveland area but it totally kicked aaron in the butt which takes a lot since the aaron has successfully kicked the houses butt for the last three years!
it is amazing once you start looking back at all that has been done in such a short amount of time
usually when i start looking back at everything we have done i get really really tired....so i typically don't
anyways you still wondering if we will be putting dresses or lederhosen on #2
lederhosen is in reference to a dream i had when pregnant with sadie
you may have to look at the blog archives for that one
lets see so far this pregnancy has been totally different than sadie though i knock on wood.....b/c we are still in the beginning stages.....but i started to miss my ankles around 24 weeks and i am 20 and i can still see them so hopefully
i got a really cute pair of boots for the winter and i want to be able to wear them
enough about fashion though......
sadie is doing well
she is talking A LOT and yelling at us especially when it comes to fruit and crackers which she typically wanted five minutes ago
we are excited for halloween as always.....
here is a twiddle bug which will be the model for sadie who will be a diddle bug very similar but it is dee dee (we call her that sometimes) dressed up as a bug!
anyways better get goin i am in computer crisis one o one
but here is goes......
we are having a boy!!!!!!
and we are taking name suggestions so please let us know your thoughts
we already have had a few: thor : hank
so far he is shy he hid from the ultra sound person so it took a really long time to find out if he was a he or a she
he likes to hide behind the umbilical cord
anyways until later when all technology has decided to cooperate
