week 21 omen #2 - 15 months omen #1

okay before you start saying...omen is that like from the horror movie......lets take a look at wikipedia and really learn the definition of omen....
"An omen (also called portent or presage) is a phenomenon that is believed to foretell the future, often signifying the advent of change"
so we got two little advents of good change in our life.....
thus omen #1 and omen #2
so what have all the little omens been up to.....
lets see omen #2 has found his kickin' legs
and like his sister thinks my bladder is a punching bag
which is great especially when i am in class and get up twice in 1/2 n hour to go to the bathroom
he has finally started to show his true self by pushing my belly out and making his presence known
so that shy little boy hiding behind his umbilical cord is nothing more than another kooncol - (our last names combined)
he will be kickin' and singing in no time
PS i still have ankles!!!!!
omen #1 has really found use for words
she loves singing the alphabet granted they all are meshed together into an odd form but she differently has the melody down right
both sadie and i had the COLD last week thanks aaron.....
so we have been crabby and unmotivated
which for sadie means she is really super snuggly which is great to have a person sweater wrapped around you ALL the time
the temp is dropping here and it really feels like fall
no more short sleeved shirts we have broken out the sweaters and long sleeved shirts
sadie still is not a fan of lots of clothing usually tugging at everything with disgust
we are hoping to go get pumpkins and apples this weekend and look for the fall foliage
this is my favorite time of year...though this typically does mean exams which i am not a fan of....but i did find out i could possibly graduate dec 2009 if no one givesme grief about taking a week off to deliver during spring semester
anyways my friend jeanne sent me the funniest story the other day (sorry jeanne have to share)
so here it is:

"Oh, I thought of Sadie the other day, our lovely dogs stole one of Kristof’s new elmo slippers. Totally destroyed. Anyway, outside playing the other day I came across one of elmo’s eyeballs stuck in the mud. It was facing upward such that it looked like he was buried and just one eye was sticking out. It was very morbid and for some reason my first thought was, good thing Sadie didn’t come across this."

This story had me laughing for hours b/c i can not imagine what sadie would do if she ever saw or witnessed the destruction of elmo. yes she is still totally into elmo though grover is becoming a close second. We had many great comments about the garage so here is the actual inside of the garage:

the outside: (notice the leaning features)

and aaron on the roof:

well that is all for this week
i start my new job on monday wish me luck!
enjoy the fall colors
