belated happy easter!!!!!

the question on the floor has been how was sadie's easter well here you go.....

happy 9 month! and happy b-day bumpa!!!!

9 months in and 9 months out.....
this is a good time to be.......
we celebrated bumpa's b-day by going to a model train show
and sadie laughed, kicked and tried to grab the trains as they went by
bumpa is hoping to re-create the santa fe rail line (the link is not of bumpa playing with his new train but you get the picture......)
want to keep this short and sweet
we are counting down the weeks to our friend holly's date of delivery
april 2 little "r" is due and we are so so excited!!!!!!

sadie can stand on her own for about two minutes
enjoy the days it is warming up here in cleveland and i can see little bits of green peeping through the snow
its almost here......

week 37 & 38 - the day it snowed and snowed and snowed!

yup you heard about it on the news
you saw pictures
you heard horror stories
cleveland was the victim of almost three feet of snow this past weekend
(the picture to your left is after a nice walk down to the lake notice frozen lake sadie loves looking at all the snow)
so what does of family of three do when they can not leave the house?
we relax!
we play!
we took lots and lots of pictures of sadie...........
so travel to the gallery and take a look at 146 pictures of sadie
(good thing we got a new camera right?)

so whats new in the life of the snow bunnies....
aaron and i caught a squirrel that had moved into our attic this winter
we named him squishy and he no longer lives in collinwood
(no fears squishy still lives just in another part of collinwood thanks paul!)
cleaned out the basement
YIPPEEEE!
okay we are boring adults and do nothing more than clean, work, sleep, more work and eat...
so getting onto the reason you have come to this blog
sadie:
she is still holding herself up on furniture but can stand for over a minute with out falling
she is gaining balance and it is only a matter of weeks before she takes that first free step away from da's leg!
here is a fun story:
sadie likes to eat earth's best organic crackers and of course the box is adorned with ELMO so when the box comes out she squeals with delight and starts calling for elmo
last time this happened i gave her the box to play with and she grabbed it and gave elmo a big kiss!
that being said she is a big snuggler and loves to be hugged and loves to give hugs and kisses (the kisses are still open mouth romantic kisses but they are still wonderful even if you have to wipe peas off your face)
nothing more than that.......
we are all waiting for spring to take long walks in the woods and hunt for skunk cabbage!
