proud mommy moment

there was one point in my life not to long ago......
about three years ago i would be going to bed at 5:00 am
my weekends would consist of finding the best art opening or cheese cube opening in cleveland, going to see some good ole rock and roll, and painting.....
now as a proud mom i was witness to sadie saying words that were like magic to my ears
never ever thought i would become one of those parents that spend much of a year talking poop...but it happens....
just like aaron and i swore we would never allow our house to become one big play room
(i think having sadie though was an excuse to make the house one big playroom....more often than not aaron and i are playing with the toys, sadie is picking up after us.....)
so you must be wondering "what did sadie say?"
she looked me straight in the face and said "poop" lifted her shirt up, walked to the stairs, climbed up the stairs, walked into her room and waited for me to lift her up onto the changing table to change her diaper....
out little girl is growing up
she said "POOP!!!!"
what does this mean.....its time to talk poop and its time to talk potty.....
this also means we might have to only deal with one in diapers while the other is growing out of diapers.....
but i will not count my poops till they hatch (that is a very disturbing thought) and we will not push anything but i am so proud of her
lets see.....
good thing we got the the big ole SUV sooner than later
we have hit -2 degrees here and there....things are falling on our house from 60 mph winds and really its just been gross out but it is winter in cleveland so no surprise there
yet tomorrow it is suppose to be 50 so just when you think your sinuses have adjusted...
#2 is doing great he does a lot of flipping and flopping in there
got to see him and he has some big cheeks just like his sister did....
we are all very very ready to say hello and welcome him into the family...especially me since i think it will be my first day off in almost 2 years
that is sad isn't it?
i want sounds of sympathy
this is all fine and dandy but in a few days we celebrate x-mas
sadie's 2 x-mas and she is aware of all
aaron and bumpa will stay up late putting together her retro red kitchen set
not going to tell you what else she got...you will just have to wait for the update later this week
#2 even got some presents......babylegs
keep those chubbies warm this winter
well that is all for now check back later this week for all the holiday cheer
and we do apologize
no cards from this year....we are slow at getting things together ......but we do send our love and thoughts
ps. we have not been to candyland yet but we do hope to we did go to stan hywet to see the lights
and sadie loved it she just ran and ran saying WOW! it was funny.....
enjoy the pictures

I love proud mommy moments. Wait until she says "I love you" spontaneously. She is developing so well and we are proud of her too! Love to all and Merry Christmas - Auntie Mel
