week 27 - as the world turns

what an exciting week! so much to tell.....
lets start with baby. she is doing well kicking mom A LOT and she has started kickin' dad ALOT also
we have one determined child! bec is hanging in there waking up in the middle of the night because a foot kicked a vital organ the newest phenomena to this pregnancy is swollen feet!
oh yeah i was warned by my mom that this would become an issue and well it has.
so far only one pair of shoes fit and that's on a good day so i have been on the quest for some new swollen feet shoes and here they are crocs. haven't bought them yet.....but that is the mission for the weekend.
the weather my next favorite topic........
last night aaron and ate out dinner on the front porch (the last two days had been as high as 70!) watched a wonderful lightening storm and woke up this morning to about an inch of snow. love cleveland! one can never get bored.
the HOUSE!!!!!!
well this is good news very very good news we have the beginning of a bookshelf! aaron and pop are working hard to get everything level, square and functional which for our house is pretty hard and incredible.
charlotte and i have been painting away in the dining room and by this weekend should have a fully painted dining room.....
aaron's studio is being cleared out, patched and painted for the computer table so the nursery will be empty
so where do we go from here?
well the floor in the dining room needs to be stained and polyurethane, than we can unpack finally after almost two years all our books onto our bookshelf, which means the basement will be cleared out YIPPPEEEEE!!! than we start sanding the ceiling ion the nursery once that room is empty and than the fun begins: murals, cribs, and rocking chairs!
only three more months and we can actually see the light at the end of the home improvement tunnel....now this does not mean the house will be done but at least one room will be (the nursery.)
lamaze story of the week:
our teacher is a bit on the controlling side but...so it goes
last week we learned how to relax which was fun except aaron and i laughed through most of it.
we were laying on the floor and imagining the beach....now for everyone else in the room they were picturing blue water, white sand but for me i was picturing lake erie, rocks, and the strong smell of fish. did not help when the teacher said now imagine a nice breeze and aaron blows into my face
yup we are the trouble makers laughing and imagining midge season when the lake turns over and the smell of sewage hangs in the air
ah cleveland!
the baby has an e-mail account baby@bristolarts.com the baby would love to hear from you.
we want to take this time also to thank family and friends for your support, conversations, and love, we would not be sane without you!

Aloha family- We are really enjoying this blog. It is way more exciting than CNN and probably more accurate. Baby and mommy are looking beautiful! We wish that we were there in person to rub the belly. To bad that you didn't have a Hawaii beach to conjur up for lamaze. We would love to help out there, maybe we could send some of our beach to you? Out of the two names that you last posted we like Lena best and would like to add Beth to our faves. I'm off to care for our three monkeys. Lots of Aloha from your family of coconuts!- Curtins
