a few more random pictures

running around the botanical gardens - Mimi came to visit and we decided to venture out into the world and see a concert in University Circle - it was a fun/exciting night

Sadie and Silas collided with each other and Sadie got her first rather alarming and big bloody nose 

she was a big girl about it and put her head back and pinched her nose - and within seconds was running around like a crazy kid like nothing ever happened

at the botanical gardens the kids got to chase some rather large happy frogs - it was great to watch the kids stop running for a minute when they noticed or heard something new and exciting 

everyday both of these kids amaze me on what they notice 

too hot

sometimes the days have been to hot to get out or the kids actually want to hang out in the house
which honestly has been fine with me
we have tried to get out to some of the summer concerts or the museums when we get a chance but if stuck at home we have creative ways to keep each other entertained 

heat wave!!!

as you know it is summer and it has been hot - very very hot - so we have been spending LOTS of time at the splash park, or at the beach or in the sprinkler or in the bath tube - any which way you dice it we are near water playing with it
which also means it has been almost 2 weeks since i ran - but i am preparing to run none stop when it snows!

both kids have been doing great in the water and we are hoping to begin more formal swimming classes once school starts and we have a better idea of a schedule
