only a few more days till bubby turns 2!!!!

the odd thing is i sit here trying to think of what to say.....
typically trying to figure out what stories to tell never is an issue because there are just so so many stories but i am drawing a complete blank (at least i am drawing right?)
but things are going well
i hesitate to say that because whenever i do things take a turn for the worse but really things are going well
aaron and i are cleaning, purging, eliminating
if the toy squeezes or responds it is being donated to one of our many friends
actually sadie and silas are going through toys, clothes, even things in the kitchen cabinet to pass on
this is a good lesson and a nice way to move old toys out to make room for new toys
and yes bubby is going to be getting lots of new toys
he has discovered a new obsession whales
he loves whales
loves saying the words whales, loves to watch movies about whales, loves the thought of whales
i am hoping this is a sign he will become an environmental activities and live on a boat protecting whales other than the opposite option
sadie and silas are still re-enacting the wizard of oz nightly for hours on end
i am not sure yet if it was a mistake but i got sadie a dorthy outfit and.....well it is usually the first thing she puts on in the morning
silas is still playing flying monkey and of course i am still the evil witch
aaron and i say each other this past weekend for 4 hours or uninterrupted talk
it was crazy...we had a wonderful gluten free sushi dinner and than a stroll through the toy aisles at toys r us.......
so we are moving forward in hopes of ripping the kitchen apart at the end of march
taxes should go in on wed so it is just a matter of getting everything else ready
like how does one live without a kitchen, 2 kids for perhaps a month???
of course it all is in the dining room....so where does all the stuff go in the dining room???
of course the basement.....so where does all the stuff go that is in the basement???
you noticing the theme and the reason we are cleaning massively
it is all happening but it is much like playing a game of blocks if one piece does not fit perfectly it is possible the entire tower will tumble
on a wonderful note....since we have all been snowed and iced over the last few weeks
today was a balmy 52 degrees!!!!
yup and the people up north you should be getting it soon
what these means besides that fact that the world is thawing and that there are wonderful puddles to jump spring is around the corner
there is more light every day and the smell of dirt is thick and warm!
i am so looking forward to my first day of laying in the grass
until later (which will be thursday to wish bubby a happy birthday) enjoy the week

bubby is 2 weeks away from his the big 2!!!!
and yes we have survived.....
though i think aaron and i have developed a few more grey hairs and a much sassier tone
what would the little guy like for his b-day?
you guessed it cars, dinosaurs or trains
though i have to admit he really likes sadie's lip gloss and some times he likes to put on a tutu and twirl he defiantly prefers the matchbox cars
so what have we been up to since i am a little late at posting this weeks cutie pictures and stories....
well this mama has been busy
and the sad thing is i have been busy with NOTHING good just learning some more blah blah computer blah technology blah and project blah blah management stuff
never fear these classes are at work...so no i have no enrolled in another masters program though i am still thinking about it
i am tempted to see how many masters one can actually get...
anyway......
sadie has turned into the princess
she has to wear a party dress everyday and night
yes she wears one over her jammies to go to sleep
so...i ask if anyone goes to the thrift store and happens to walk past a very big frizzy flurry of taffeta and tulle and it is between a toddler 4 and 6 pick it up and send it our way....
silas is talking a mile minute
he is really into whales and witches so i guess everything that starts with the letter W
he knows parts of his ABC's and loves to pretend to write them
so...we are making it through this winter with weekly visits to a museum, the library and dance/art class
so our weeks are busy but fun!
