so how do you spend your b-day?

yup you heard it i just turned 24!
wow
23 was a good year but i can not wait for 24....really though you may ask how was my b-day?
it was wonderful!!!!
the sun was out and 80 degrees
aaron roasted a bunch of fresh veggies and he got me a glider for the backyard!!!!
sadie and silas of course loved their cupcakes and sang happy b-day!
so i could not ask for a better day
thank you family for such a wonderful day now you all know that mothers day is coming.....
silas is walking!
he takes one or two little steps looks amazed and sits down
very different approach to sadie who sort of just barreled into it without a thought
on that note though our little girl is one week NO DIAPER!!!!!
she is doing great and as a supportive treat we took her to chuck-e-cheese for pizza and playing
silas loved the carousel and any game with balls - he did a lot of bowling
we are growing none stop here in cleveland it is great and everyday is a total surprise....
they both are starting sleeping in till 7 which is wonderful but that means i need to get the alarm clock working again
for now we are getting a ceiling in the kitchen this saturday!!!!!
and aaron may paint the garage depends on weather......so we are moving forward
one wall and ceiling at a time
after that we are getting gutters for the garage, rain barrels and starting the chicken coop
for now enjoy the days and watch the leaves as they emerge from the trees this is the best time of year!!

how i spend my days.....

so a good friend sent me a link to my newest obsession
yes watching chickens http://www.hencam.com/
so i find chicken watching very relaxing and therapeutic....and why would i need to relax.....let me count the ways
1. silas has his two front teeth coming in
2. sadie wore big girl panties all day and went to school with them
3. silas has learned from his sister that arching his back and screaming will get him almost anything he wants
4. sadie has learned that if she pretend cries that she is hurt someone will respond
5. babe has learned to hold her tinkle for longer periods of time
6. meow meow has learned to ninja attack babe from behind corners
so...to put it mildly our house is very very very busy and full of life
on that note........
we are busy working on various projects
aaorn has pulled ALL the siding off the lean tooooo and will begin our chicken coop construction soon
yes we are getting chickens and maybe a bunny
we are hoping for chickens by sadie's b-day
looking at only 2 or 3 little chickens and maybe one bunny
who really knows but hey why not have the mini farm in cleveland right
and no we are not eating these chickens they are for watching, playing with and fresh eggs
meow meow may have a completely different agenda
i have submitted my final draft for my masters project and am waiting to hear if everything is good if it is next week i submit it and I AM DONE! yes you heard that right DONE
i have one more class that starts in may and ends june 11th......
oh how i can not wait
let's see aside from chickens we are not doing much else
we had a few really nice days and now are in the spring rain phase of cleveland
which just makes everything super super green
are bean sprouts are up to a few inches and our marigolds are sprouting
the ice has melted form the lake and there is a beach!
we have been taking every opportunity to bundle up and get outside and play
sadie loves splashing in the puddles!
that is all for this week
