amazing.......

baby silas is approaching 6 months......sadie 26 months
our house is full of adventures and scrapped knees
so what are some of the tales from the hood:
silas is getting up on his knees and actually hopping across the floor
very funny to watch i am not sure if i would call it crawling but he is getting from point a to point b
watch out sadie your brother is coming for ya
he has also started eating
which i have to say has been interesting
lets think sumo wrestler.....
anyways he grabs the spoon and actually feeds himself
he dips the spoon into his rice cereal and shovels it into his mouth...there is no questioning flavor or action he knows what he wants and he is moving forward
corporate america watch out
sadie is getting sneaky she is hiding food in various areas of the house and revisiting them maybe months later
the good thing is the food she is hiding is not egg
she now can hold a pretty interesting conversation on the phone if you are willing to hear about her menu of food items
currently she likes everything that starts with B
beets, beans, berries, and bread
so for now i think that is all......
saturday is my last day of class for two weeks then i am back it once again
UGH
i will survive

welcome humidity

even though there are hair gels, creams, etc i still look like a q-tip in the summer humidity
generally speaking though i am getting use to the fact that the only way i can contain my hair is by pulling it up and back......
looks like dear little sadie may have inherited my hair....still waiting on silas
what's the scoop now that we got new stairs?
nothing much to be honest
we are preparing for a garage sale, awaiting mema's arrival and trying to stay awake at work
sadie loves going to "school" it was a slight adjustment but now she gets totally engrossed in the toys and does not even see daddy aaron slip away
silas is a mover and shaker
he loves bath time he kicks and squirms so much he is hard to hold onto
(think greased piggy)
he took a bath last night with sadie both thought this was the greatest thing in the world
sadie washed silas's hair and toes
later silas told aaron all about it and then mid sentence feel asleep
silas is ready to eat......
like his sister he is imitating eating and stares at everything we consume
so we got him in the high chair and handed him a spoon
a few more weeks.....
aside from that life is a just a puddle jump of to do lists
i only have three more weeks of school and then 2 weeks off and back at it
well that is all for now enjoy the pictures

aside from some amazing work being done on our house we have nursed a very sick sadie back to herself and she started her first day at "school"
school went well she had fun and promptly feel asleep
silas is rolling over nonstop, he is getting up into a crawling position, and he he sings nonstop
so he is rather active and aware
he loves to grab sadie's hair and is always asking for kisses
the house never stops moving even for a second
which is suppose is good but it is also very exhausting
i am half way done for this semester which is good because i am not sure how much more i can take
so what is next....
yup the bathroom
it is time to look at the bathroom critically to determine what we can do this summer
good thing we bought a sledgehammer
