week 24 and everyone is dancing

what does one do at 5:00 in the morning?

paint your toe nails, relax read a little homework maybe update a blog
for anyone (grandma & grandpa bristol) you may find this very odd and funny that your daughter who typically did not go to bed till 5:00 is now waking up in hopes of obtaining one minute of solitude before the day begins
i remember the days when they would run the vacuum cleaner in hopes of getting me out of bed at 1:00 in the afternoon
now at 1:00 in the afternoon i typically have taken one nap, done three loads of laundry, made breakfast and lunch, gone grocery shopping and cleaned various parts of the house while dancing to "The WHO" sadie's favorite band!
oh how times have changed.....
now that i am feeling older not really wiser but older let me tell you about the weekend:
mimi, bumpa, aaron deedle bug and i all went to boo at the zoo which was lots of fun
sadie loved watching the puppet show and danced whenever the music came on but it was a late night and her little tutu wilted around 8:30 as she grew tired of all the lights and costumes.....but of course the kid dressed up as elmos she screamed with happiness "ELMO"
she actually expected us to chase after the elmo......
it was a cold very very cold night so i don't have many pictures of the tutu running away from us at the zoo but we still have halloween to show off her costume
(we finally had to turn the heat on UGH!!!! )
we also went to the sparkle spot at the library which is the coolest rom ever and will be a saving grace on those cold days when we really need to get out of the house
yes we do love out local library......who is also havin' a big book sale this weekend which means all children's book 25 cents......can't beat that!
sunday we went for a really nice long walk at Penitentiary Glen Reservation which this time of year is wonderful
sadie must of walked almost a mile
running through the fields and squashing leaves!
the colors are really brilliant even though there is a nip in the air this is the best time to walk
we brought all our plants in and are decorating the house for halloween
only one more week.....so we have started to buy lots and lots of candy
we get between 300 to 400 kids on our street for halloween so we recruit our friends to help pass out candy
lets see no work ALL play this weekend and hopefully for the next couple of weekends......
oh actually it wasn't no work
aaron and bumpa cleaned out the garage which believe it or not is a LARGE project very very LARGE
and our curb for trash once again had the most
omen #2 has really popped
it is hard now for me to bend down
i still have ankles YIPPPEEE!!! but can no longer see my feet and the waddle is back
its hard to believe i am already 6 months.......
only a few more months and we will have another little hand to hold
enjoy the days

week 23 and month 16 ! days are going quickly

it is hard to believe that the holidays are just around the corner
which of course means i am thinkin' of presents
so what do you get a little girl who has EVERYTHING.....
well we solved the puppy issue so not sure
maybe a new house so she can put more toys in it?
the happenings this week
we took a nice drive out east to see the fall colors, eat apples, and buy more pumpkins and of course pet a cow
because halloween just wouldn't be without our front yard covered in little orange pumpkins!
sadie can eat an entire apple all by herself....just stand back...and what ever you do not take the apple away until she is done
typically every morning she runs around the kitchen and the dining room saying
"nana" for banana and "apple"
so she usually gets one banana in the morning and one apple in the evening for dessert
not a bad dessert this time of year
not much more is going on besides that
closing the yard up in preparation for winter
UGH!!! WINTER!!!!!!
new job is going well settling into a routine of sorts
school well its school not much more to say about that except i am trying to stay awake
sadie is wonderful as always giving hugs, and kisses that smell like apples
she has started helping out around the house as you saw she loves to help with dishes but she is helping set the table
why not start them working young right?
aaron is complaining about not having enough time to work on the house because he really loves working on the house
omen #2 is kicking a lot and seems to kick a lot when i am in meetings which is most of the time at least he is kicking during the day
what is than on the agenda.....
have no idea
maybe a nap?

week 22 and someone knows the letter A

so what does one due during the break in class?
yes you guessed it one updates the blog
what is happenin' in the wonderful world of cleveland
the weather is getting chilly, the leaves are starting to change colors, and night time starts before bath time which means our walk to the beach are limited to before dinner time
sadie is doing alright with these changes so far.....
though she is complaining about ALL the clothing especially socks
yup our little girl HATES socks
omen #2 is kickin' non stop and the good thing is he is kickin' lots during the day so we may have one person in the family who logically can define the difference between night and day but we shall see.......
went to the pumpkin patch and sadie took a hay ride and picked a few little green pumpkins
than ate lots of amish cheese and called after the farm dog
we had a special visitor come say hi to sadie over the weekend
bill read her a few books and sadie listened so happily to everything he said......
have held off doing any more work on the house for the time being
been to busy......
the new job is going well and its keeping me super busy which is good
keeping me out of trouble right?
anyways my break is over so this is the short sweet update on our life
enjoy the fall foliage and cool nights sleeping
ps. sadie's new favorite activity helping mom with the dishes, she prefers the water to be on the warm side but she is actually very good at splashing......
