wildlife in collinwood

this has been a wonderful week for sadie.....
and a bad week for me
i feel like a bad mom because with all my love for taking picture upon pictures i have not captured any wonderful moments between sadie and her cousins!
so let me illustrate the smiles on sadie's face when maggie, and darcey run through the bubbles with her
big kisses from cousin connor
and lots of hugs and kisses from aunt mel and uncle danny!
everyday sadie comes home from playing exhausted but happy
she falls asleep with a big smile and wakes up talking ready to go
they have been to the zoo, walking at the nature center, playing in the backyard with mimi and bumpa
learning about birds and flowers
sadie loves to yell aggie for maggie
mimi and if bumpa leaves the room a very loud squeal BUMPA comes from somewhere in the room.....
now the title of this post is about wildlife and i am not talking about the cousins but our little trash visitor we recently had
he hung out in trash for about 45 minutes after i dumped it over why i am not sure but the little fellow kept aaron up all night thinking some one was in the house
see what happens when all your windows open and you hear new things?
aside from all the excitement nothing more really has happened
we go to work, water the sod and think about sleeping
sadie is growing in leaps and bounds its hard to describe everything she is doing
her vocabulary is large though still half the sentences and words she says i have not figured out
she says them with so much determination they have to mean something right?
until next week
enjoy the pictures!

summer!

okay this summer has been a never ending challenge of new
sadie is climbing up the stairs
climbing onto the sofa to read her elmo books
she is humming the elmo theme song
eating corn on the cob with ALL of her teeth
and we have a house with a backyard that has grass and a fence!
what this means is aaron is exhausted but he has done a wonderful job creating a play pen of grass for sadie
in 90 degree weather my little husband and bumpa went outside every weekend built a patio, a fence, and put grass down
not to mention he created a new flower bed which he put in a japanese red maple and two holly bushes!
LOVE THE HUSBAND!
thank you aaron for all your hard work
than as a muddy little family we walk down to the lake so aaron and sadie can take a bath before actually entering the house
until today we had little black foot prints going up stairs but its worth it
its so exciting to sit in the backyard and not worry if sadie is going to run into the driveway
she is free to roam and play with dirt and squash the flowers!
summer has finally begun for us here in cleveland
sadie has two scrapped up knees a mosquito bite and a mouthful of watermelon
whats not to love.....
so the big question is what next.....
well aaron has a gig at the beachland on august 1
bec is cleaning house
and we are getting ready for sadie's free willed independence which means.....we are going to turn our attentions inward......
we need a railing for the stairs, a ceiling in the dining room and well bec wants a new bathroom.....but that may be some time all depends on..... it is our house so not much needs to be added onto after all those dots
until next week
enjoy the movie and pictures

been some time.....

okay it has been some time since our last post
sorry but what do you expect from a girl....i got a new house, new job
the house is done so to speak....at least the outside aaron and bumpa have been busy working on the backyard......for (chickens....right?)
aaron has rebuilt our patio and is putting in a fence (for our pet chickens)
so by next week we should have grass so sadie can run and play in the back yard
things are happening!
sadie has gotten her first scrapped knee and lets just say hydrogen peroxide does hurt...but she did get a really nice hello kitty band aid and she can put it on herself
sadie changes everyday
one day she goes to bed looking like a baby and the next she wakes up as a toddler!
she loves being outside eating mint from the garden and walking down to the lake
she stops in everyones yard to smell the flowers and chase after kitty cats
she points to everything and says "what's that?"
her favorite food right now is blueberries and she eats about a pint a week...if she could she would eat a pint a day......but we feel other foods need to introduced into her diet
her other favorite food is pizza which we make.......we use the bread machine to make yummy dough.......oh now i am getting hungry
she is running and keeping both her mom and dad busy running......
enjoy the summer days!
