almost there......

we have almost hit the 12 months, one year, un año, 1年, un an






it is so hard to believe how quickly things change......
today is not the day for a retrospect but it is my last day of work......
so in the respects i am feeling a little sentimental about life in general
8 years at the art museum to begin a new life
one that is dictated by the bus schedule, baseball and meetings
and i have to say i could not done any of this with out my current boss
so thanks FFR for teaching me geek talk!
enough about me and my life changes....
sadie is growing physically and mentally
adding new vocab words daily that we can not even keep up
she nows says birdie and a few others i have not been able to translate
i think babel fish needs to come up with a translator from baby to english......
i think a lot of parents would be happy (not to mention baby who is finally understood)
but sadie points to things she wants and she is learning to run
which is fun and scary to watch but she is getting better at it all the time
her favorite activity right now is dancing
she loves to listen to music or sing and dance which is becoming an aerobic work out for all of us.....so time to cancel any gym membership.....just grab a sadie and some parisian music and start wiggling
house up date: we have signed all our loan papers and are just waiting for the windows to be delivered...
so for all of you flying in for sadie's b-day the house should (cross your fingers) be done!
well that is all for now....don't worry if i am a little slow at updating next week
got a lot on the plate: new house, new job, older baby and anniversary!
until than enjoy the sunshine and stop and eat some mint (sadie other new habit she likes to pick mint out of the garden every morning before going to mimi's and eat it on the drive over)
PS. sadie went swimming okay well not really swimming but she put her feet in the lake last weekend and played with the sand......afterwards with a super soggy diaper we stripped her down and aaron helped her run through the sprinkler in the back yard summer is fun for naked babies to blow bubbles and run through sprinklers!

11 months and moving forward

we got ourselves a toddler
the only time sadie crawls now is when she picks up something off the floor that she is not suppose to and she eats it.....than she crawls really really fast laughing as she tries to get away from you
its great fun
anyways lets see....many exciting things are happening so i will be quick in trying to tell ALL the stories....
aunt mel, uncle danny and the cousins are moving back to the states YIPPPEEEEE and they are coming to cleveland for sadie's b-day and to make things even better they are staying for two weeks!
which is perfect timing because sadie loves to kiss and she loves to talk about her cousins so they better beware they will be getting lots of sadie kisses
grandma b, aunt cyndie and uncle cecile are all flying in for sadie's b-day
so....it will be a fun and crazy day for celebrating.......(trying to convince aaron that we should get a pony) any ways.....
all the paper work has been signed for the house construction and re-modeling just waiting for those papers that say go ahead but after talking to everyone it may be done the first week of june another big YIPPPPEEEE!!!!
aaron and i will be celebrating 4 years together this june and what do we plan on doing......you guessed it sleeping in!
mimi has graciously agreed to a sleep over with sadie so we might be able to sleep in past 8:00am!
i can only imagine........sleep and rest...moving slowly in the morning oh why can't our anniversary be tomorrow
working on painting a mural this summer in collinwood....which makes me so so happy it has been 2 years since i have painted a mural and i am ready to paint large!
in the process of training sadie on the fine arts of painting so she can be my helper
the other big news which is really big for me i got a new job
yup you heard it here first june 2 will be my first day working in downtown cleveland for (yes this is another amazing thing) a baseball research resource.....so what will i be doing beside actually earning a real paycheck
my title is "director of special projects" this is a nice title for "director of other duties as assigned" yup i am doing a little bit of everything but to put it in simple terms i will manage the very large and numerous (40) websites containing many many statistical information about baseball, images, audio files, movies.....you name it if it can be collected by a baseball fan it was collected and is or will be available online..........
so i get to organize it and have fun

may be a year before you see any changes but i am leaving the art museum after 8 years to play with baseball info!
