week 33 - WE GOT A TOOTH!

the bags under my eyes are now explained.....
sadie has been sleeping in a rather odd pattern actually sadie has not been sleeping
which means i have not been sleeping but it all makes sense
when i wake up at 3 am to sadie eating the blanket muffling out a ma ma maaaaa & da da da da!
she has a tooth!
a little white tooth on the bottom and she does love getting it massaged!
and she loves trying to chew on frankie
so much has been happening
it is like one day we had a cute quiet humming little girl that loves cuddles and snuggles now we have squirmy wiggles who can not move or talk fast enough
she is crawling FORWARDS (yes she finally figured out how to move forwards) saying elmo or bo and reaching for her elmo book
we have had to learn how to put a diaper on while she is in transit which has been interesting and is making both aaron and i become ambidextrous
a skill neither of us really wanted to learn
she loves chinese food and mexican actually she loves food and eats lots and lots
her favorite activity right now is flying or hovering over frankie well frankie walks, eats, sleeps....you get the picture (frankie is not a fan of this)
her favorite toy right now is the remote and ma or da's phone (taking bets on how much longer the phones will last i am thinkin' another month.....)
that is all for now....
oh there is some more exciting news......
i get to meet my husband hello husband!
aaron's crazy schedule is going back to normal YIPPPEEEEE!!!!!
our days of being single parents are over..........
just in time for sadie and i to fly to RI to visit country grandma & grandpa and cousin emily!
*PLUG*
aaron and his band the lawton bros will be playing at the beachland ballroom on feb 23 go check them out!

week 31 & 32 - the beat goes on......

this week in the life of one trying to stand and walk

sadie is determined to skip crawling and go straight into marathon running
this means.........
the crib is now a device that holds her up
ma and da are things to crawl on
the sofa is only a prop for standing and squealing at the snow
the high chair provides another vantage point to stare at frankie when she eats
and well our house is full of squirmy wiggle bottom trying to escape the confines of a seventh month olds coordination!
we are tired.........
aaron is still working his crazy schedule: getting home at 11:30 or so coming to bed around 3:00 am than getting up with sadie at 7:00 am the lack of sleep in this house is amazing
(hi aaron see you later today hopefully!)
sadie is trying to combine ALL of our schedules together
this means......
she goes to bed at 8:00 pm gets up at 12:00 saying da da da than she falls back asleep after about a half hour or so gets up again when aaron comes to bed singing da da da goes back to bed around 4:00 am gets up again at 5:30 singing ma ma ma when i get up
so ma ma ma actually goes to bed at 8:00 pm in order to try and get at least 5 hours of sleep!
where or where did my crazy life of staying up till 2:00 am go?
i have started school up again which is going well only one class and a workshop this semester so not to crazy of a schedule......
hoping to start working on the house some starting this weekend (sorry aaron)
need to clean up and make way for big girl toys....it is amazing how fast they grow out of the toys......sadie's bouncy chair is retired, her swing is right behind, the bassinet is to small and she is now into 9 month clothes!
sadie took a big girl bath ALL by herself the other day
she had fun swimming around the tub chasing after her cow duckie (thank you aunt cyndie)!
her new favorite foods are lentils and beans! (oh the joy of fiber)
sadie loves drumming one of her favorite toys is actually an empty cereal box
she beats on it and actually has rhythm (she did not get that from my side of the family)
until later enjoy the pictures and movie
