First Day of KINDERGARTEN!!!!

it is hard to believe Sadie will be starting her first day of kindergarten!!!!
we have not prepared for this
we don't know what we are doing - or even how we are doing it
so the house is in full panic - but it is a good panic
Sadie is excited - so the first day Aaron will be taking Sadie for a few hours to meet the teacher and tour the school
the school just moved into the new building only a few days before school started so things are sort of crazy - but life would not be normal if there was not a bit of crazy
Silas will be hanging around the house and his current school for the next few weeks until he starts his first day pre-school in September!!
Sadie does have to wear a uniform - and so far she seems ok with the concept - i did tell her she can still wear pink socks and hair pretties and that seemed ok....

Princess & Dragon Ball

sometimes our neighborhood does these fun little things just for kids!!!
this sunday it is all about princesses and dragons so why not get the kids dressed and have them meet a real dragon!
of course anytime Sadie and Si get a chance to dress up they go all out
it was a fun day of dancing and fighting dragons....so now it is time to nap

summer is coming to end only for school to start

it is august now and even though it feels like summer can never ever end - it will, right?
we have gotten the letter telling us Sadie will start school in 2 weeks!!!!
UGH!!!!
so how do we cram in a lot of fun before school starts???
how do we get the last bit out of every day?
go to the beach!!
