more easter pictures!

we had a good easter - lots of activities
we went and saw the easter bunny and actually sat on his lap - well i didn't i took pictures of sadie and si but it was fun - sadie stated very clearly that she knows it is a person wearing a bunny suit and the bunny suited guy said "what cute children"
so there you have it!
we started eating chocolate on friday and come sunday i think both kids had this crazed drugged out look - bags under eyes and the first thing si said to me on sunday morning
"mommy, i want chocolate"
needless to say we are slowing getting rid of the chocolate - and yes i mean i am eating it.....
since easter not much else has happened
i am training for a 5k in a few weeks and after swollen tendons, a busted bruised up knee and a mega super summer cold i am ready!!!
it has been a hard time training but everyone has been very supportive and honestly that has been what has kept me going
this weekend sadie and i will be going to the princess royal ball at the children's museum and i know we should dress like princesses but i told sadie we are the princesses that Disney has not yet realized so she is dressing as the butterfly princess in a butterfly dress i will be making paper butterfly's for her hair and shoes - i will be tree princess since i have green princess gown so i will be gluing leaves all over my gown!
i am super excited - i love taking sadie on dates
silas is doing really well using the potty - he is still way more focused on cars and marbles to worry or be concerned about the potty - his new favorite thing right now is dragons he LOVES dragons
we are getting ready for summer and still thinking about the up and coming school year - sadie is still taking karate and will be testing for her orange belt this saturday
silas is trying out for how many calories he can consume in one day eating only ice cream (kidding - we do feed him more than sugar)

days of spring/summer

wonderful day to take a tour of statues and flowers at Lake View Cemetery we ran around and climbed everything who ever knew playing in a cemetery would be more fun than going to the park!! oh weather is turning back to spring but we did have a week there in the 80's which was wonderful and of course had me day dreaming of grilling and camping - so of course we had to get a tent!!! out summer is ready! i am hoping our first camping trip will be at Punderson - which is a metro park in Burton, Oh - ok - i know it is only 45 miunutes from the house - but for kids that could feel like FOREVER! we are still waiting on the school stuff and playing as much as we can still plugging away at little projects around the house and getting ready to plant an amazing garden - weekly now i have been cleaning out the basement and slowly unpacking the kitchen and yes the bathroom - i know it has been 2 yrs since the bathroom renovation but i still have stuff in boxes the next few weeks are going to be crazy with the easter bunny and birthday parties! Sadie is still going to Karate she is only 2 stripes away from her orange belt! and she can pack a punch it is amazing to see Silas is still working on the potty stuff- some days he is great other days he is just lazy - who can blame him - i mean if you don't have to stop playing to use the potty why would you?? anyways that is the update for today - enjoy this spring/summer thing we got going on love to all
