long time - but this mama has been sick

i will try and remember everything that has happened as well as all the super cutie stories but first thing first - the reason no one has heard a peep from me is i have been down with pneumonia
can't say i am back 100% i am probably at 50%
so i still can not race after totally energetic kidlets but i can walk......
so halloween was a blast but we did do less than normal
no boo at the zoo and no haunted halloween ride
but sadie and si did go trick or treating
si had it totally figured out by the 2nd house - he would put his basket out for candy - people would drop some yum yums in with his basket still out he would look longing at them and ask for more - so he got twice the amount of candy so much candy that he was dragging his basket behind him
si did go as the blue 4 armed monster and sadie as dorthy - i will post pictures - after eating lots nad lots of candy the kids did sit down and watch the wizard of oz
this past week we had a vistor - MEMA!!!
it was a short visit but we are all feeling the effects of her visit - especially babe who i think has never been walked so much in her life!
she was a very very happy dog
when Mema was here we took a nice walk at the arboretum, indulged in a tea party and played lots!
i know much more has happened but honestly my mind is still trying to recover form the evil of pneumonia
sadie's favorite little bun bun came with me to work the other day which was wonderful! i do have lots of pictures of bun bun hanging out at starbucks
we are getting ready for turkey day and x-mas
both kids are really sup super excited - i have provided and amazon wish list to get some ideas for the kids - if you have issues with the list let me know - but it mostly to get ideas etc
sadie is really into nail polish, lipstick etc
and si well if it is a car or robot you got one very happy kid
both still love to draw and paint almost daily - sadie is really into mazes and si loves dry erase boards
that is my update for now - we are getting ready for winter -and it is sad to say good bye to the long days warm days but sledding!!!! i am excited about that

been a long time.....

i know it has been a long time since last i posted - but i did provide some cute pictures here and there - anyways what has been happening.....
we went on vacation - yup we sure did
we vacation at Bonniewood Drive painting the kitchen!!!!
we are almost done have to paint the baseboards and get doors for the cabinets but that is all and honestly doors on cabinets that is easy right???
hopefully before turkey day we will be able to say COMPLETE!!!
but who knows at this rate i am just happy we have a kitchen
the tree in our front yard got a hair cut and that was amazing to watch - think guy + chainsaw + rope = haircut
we now can see the sun!!!
it is odd though and i am having a hard time getting used to the amount of exposure we have now - but at least this winter we will not be fearful of the tree falling on someone
aside from that we have tried to hit every fall activity available and have had some really good weather to do
we took a train ride
very exciting for everyone than a nice walk at the park, we bounced on a bouncy pillow - i think i am still recovering from that, we have gone to every park imaginable and we have napped
this fall is treating us well - though none of us are ready for winter - we are ready for santa but not winter
work is going well - very very busy because of course this is the busy time of year for greeting cards right?
sadie is an amazing little helper - she loves to play ballerina and wears her ballet shoes everywhere
silas likes to pretend he is batman and he can fly
we are creating paintings and buildings everyday - working on our imaginary skills and having tea parties - it is wonderful
sadie and silas play wonderfully together (don't get me wrong we have moments - and lots of them) but when both are in the mood sadie will teach bubby the alphabet and all the numbers - she will be teacher and he will be the kid it is fun to hide and watch
well that is all i got for now - i will post pictures up hopefully tomorrow but did not want you all to think i forgot about you......
