oh the change that is about to begin

there are days when all i do is recite the robert frost poem "two roads diverge in the woods and i took the one less traveled"

the interesting thing is i actually took the road that is so worn down it has foot prints grooved into the cement...but

the point of this is.....we are about to come to another cross road...and yes we are again taking the one that is most desired - aaron is moving to days!

no sleeping during the day - the kids now have

a day walking daddy!!!!

so what does this really mean?

more projects!!!!

just kidding - it actually means we can do things as a family on the weekends, it means i can leave the house, it means i can sleep in a

saturday, it means SOOOO much will change for ME!!!

ok i am selfishly thinking about myself - but honestly this does have a huge and positive impact on us and we are all so so very happy....

ok i am going to give you all pictures and stop gloating on the fact that our like is getting a bit more normal - maybe

hot hot hot

yes we are in the midst of a heat wave.....sink holes are consuming cars, silas's little curls are causing old women to faint, sadie's big shy smile makes young animals flock.....

yes we are the picture perfect hot sweaty family that never actually leaves the house because it is to hot

we got our AC units at the

last minute - which is a good thing we got them in otherwise we would all be sleeping in the fridge or the bathtub......

aside from avoiding the outside we are doing well

silas can read the entire alphabet and knows all the sounds to all the letters

he is talking non-stop and this time it all makes sense - he likes to talk about his cars, his trains and yes his diaper

he is working on using the potty

he likes t

o tell me when he has a dirty diaper and then tell me i can't change it....

sadie is learning sign language and can do the entire alphabet and some words

she can ride her bike like a super hero and takes every free moment to correct me and tell me that she is a big girl and can do it ALL by herself.....for some reason i feel like i us

e to say this a lot when i was this age.....

ummmmm??

anyways we are planning on spending as much time in the pool in the backyard or in the lake all depends
