so what do you what to hear about kids or house???

i should present that as a survey.....since for the next few weeks perhaps a few months it will be a natural toss up on what you will read about
so here are so pics of the cuties
we are going to be kitchenless as of monday so i will post pictures and horror stories as they come in
and what sort of horror stories??? think with me for a minute....two kids no kitchen. need i say more.
i realized i have posted no pics of the bathroom in its some what complete state. we still have some trim work that we need to paint but for the most part we are totally done!!!!
i love saying that word DONE!
this weekend we will be experiencing real spring for cleveland that means rain and warm breezes.
today we are headed down to the beach to collect beach glass, rocks and who knows what else we will find....perhaps make a few mud pies as well
sadie and silas are both doing well. silas is talking non-stop he loves to correct you. for example a vulture is not a vulture but a turkey. sadie loves to correct him so we get a lot of "NO DEE DEE!!! NO"
so for now i am off to find buckets and pants.
hoping to roast some marshmellows and hot dogs this weekend in the backyard....but who knows what will happen

PS. this is bubby enjoying our new dishwasher! so happy we have learned about safety

so i am posting pictures of the kitchen
if i had a free car to give away i would add this as a contest....
who can help us design the best kitchen!!!!
really it is fairly simple....we keep coming back to the same design and set up we have now
and that is not from trying to rearrange things but with a budget and limited time we could always use some ideas
we can not put any plumbing or gas lines on the outer wall with the window but aside from that we can be a bit creative (i think)
so send us some thoughts or support or home depot cards

robots trying to escape alien dog!!!

yes things have been fun in the kooncle house hold
kids are being dressed as robots terrifying the dog
meow meow she just hides
her belly has gotten SO round this winter that i don't think she can run anymore
sadie and silas are still battling the mega COLD.....
which they so lovingly shared
so we are playing, sanding cabinets, cleaning house and trying to get ready for spring
we have seeds started and lots of little green shoots of veggies growing
sadie sits and watches them grow asking me what my favorite tomato is and pretends to pick me a mater salad
her imagination is wonderful!
she tells some of the best stories full of colors and adventures
it is fun to hide and just listen to her.....I will try and capture a story or two in the next week
bubby is talking up a storm
this morning he grabbed sadie's hand and said "dee dee it is time to go to school"
he loves to make funny faces and make you laugh as well as getting a good hug and snuggle
both are growing up so fast!!
sadie gets her big big girl bed tomorrow and she has special princess sheets
so we are going to spend the evening tonight and tomorrow making little hide and play spaces in her room
i am SO excited
i have rope lights to make a blue moon on her ceiling to go with all her glow in the dark stars, I have tulle and sheets to make a privacy wall between bubby and her.....i have ideas and i have supplies (yes this is how i use my art school degree)
