want to know what it is like to have dinner with us??

the count down.....

bubby is 2 weeks away from his the big 2!!!!
and yes we have survived.....
though i think aaron and i have developed a few more grey hairs and a much sassier tone
what would the little guy like for his b-day?
you guessed it cars, dinosaurs or trains
though i have to admit he really likes sadie's lip gloss and some times he likes to put on a tutu and twirl he defiantly prefers the matchbox cars
so what have we been up to since i am a little late at posting this weeks cutie pictures and stories....
well this mama has been busy
and the sad thing is i have been busy with NOTHING good just learning some more blah blah computer blah technology blah and project blah blah management stuff
never fear these classes are at work...so no i have no enrolled in another masters program though i am still thinking about it
i am tempted to see how many masters one can actually get...
anyway......
sadie has turned into the princess
she has to wear a party dress everyday and night
yes she wears one over her jammies to go to sleep
so...i ask if anyone goes to the thrift store and happens to walk past a very big frizzy flurry of taffeta and tulle and it is between a toddler 4 and 6 pick it up and send it our way....
silas is talking a mile minute
he is really into whales and witches so i guess everything that starts with the letter W
he knows parts of his ABC's and loves to pretend to write them
so...we are making it through this winter with weekly visits to a museum, the library and dance/art class
so our weeks are busy but fun!

winter babies get bite on the butt?!?

yup...you heard it here first!
bubby got bite on the butt
so sadie thinks this is the funniest thing in the world but really it is not that funny
there is always that one kid in day care that bites.....just so happens that there are 4 or more in bubby's class that like to take a bite out of crime or bubby's butt
so through the sweatpants and through the diaper bubby has a big quarter size bite out of his poor little butt
never fear though...these kidlets will be moving to another class room and sealed off till they can begin to communicate with words not bites!
daddy'd b-day was a blast!
we made a very large wonderful meal with yes a gluten free chocolate cheese cake!!!
silas now points to the fridge and either says cheese or cake!
really do you need to know anymore words than that?
sadie is on a girlie girl kick right now and only wants to wear twirly dresses....and as her mom i feel it is my duty to make sure she has ever cute twirly dress in the world.....
we have had some super cold days with ice, snow and more snow but today we melt in a balmy 40 degrees...this little hint of spring and day light are really making me itch for warmer days!
we are still trying to finish the bathroom so that we can start the kitchen...but like everything in our life it is a slow slow process and sometimes i have to say who really cares if we just sit on our hands for today.....there is always so much to be done
with that exhausted statement i leave this wonderful audience to go work on yet another project that is under a pile of post it notes....oh project where are you??
