sadie loves to tell stories
currently her big story is...."when bubby gets in trouble mommy and daddy are going to talk to him about insurance"
this changes depending on her mood but "insurance" is now a bad word in our house
you can count to 3 or talk insurance the results are the same
the children go scattering to try and please!
we are getting ready and excited for halloween
Silas LOVES his monkey costume and wears it around the house as much as he can
is especially loves the monkey pants (i think it is the monkey feet that crack him up)
i have to say i am excited as well but sad to see summer go
it was a good summer but i feel as though i did not get as much done as i wanted
i am not talking about a long list of house projects.....i am talking about all the "free" fun things cleveland has to offer in the summer
and yes i am one of those parents that will cram everything in just b/c i can which means i have two very exhausted kidlets on hand.....which is not so bad if they go to bed early and mommy has 5 minutes of free quiet time to just go "AHHHHHH!" (with a big sigh)
we are getting into the runny nose fussy part of the season but we are also getting into apples and hayrides!!!!
this past weekend we went to the antique tractor show at lake farmpark and sages to get some fresh super yummy apples
this coming week and weekend we have plans to cook out on the fire pit!!!!
yes i am arming the children with sticks to cook their hot dogs and marshmallows!
watch out meow meow and babe otherwise we may be picking little bits of marshmallow out of your hair!!!
sadie is good with it...not sure how danger destructo bubby will be...but we will find out soon enough
he is talking a mile a minute. most of what he says is NOOOOO!!! ADIEEEEE!!!! which of course is no sadie......they play well together and they both look for each other first thing in the morning to play which mostly consists of chasing each other back and forth or running after meow meow
it has been hard wrestling 2 little kids i am starting to see the benefit of them being so close in age
they are good friends even when they are yelling at each other
so i leave you all once again with cutie pictures
we have our computer back so if anyone wants to set up a skype phone conference call we are now available and sadie loves to talk!!!!

Rhode Island

we are back!
and you sit there scratching your head.....where did we go?
no we did not go to the moon, or sail to canada....we traveled a long time to get to new england specifically Rhode Island
it was a fun trip
i will have to paraphrase most of the trip b/c so many many things happened

1. sadie had her first sleep over!
2. silas may of broken his nose...but it healed in like 4 days but he did look like a little football player for a short time which just confirmed the fact that he will NEVER play any contact team sports
3. silas also faced off a rooster and if aaron had not plucked him out of the battle scene i think silas would of won
4. sadie touched a shark and feed a horse shoe crab
5. aaron and becky saw each other for more than five minutes in passing
6. babe has a boyfriend named joey
7. meow meow has learned that she really does love her people (that is us)
8. we visited family and played with cousin emily and sean
9. we miss everyone and thank all our hosts for such a wonderful and magical time playing on the beach, eating peaches, dancing to the dinosaur song and of course ALL the hugs

emily turned 3 while we were visiting and had a chance to enjoy a fun party in aunt holly's backyard
sadie and emily had a blast playing together and it has been hard to get back into the routine of life
but today we started the week as we do every week
kids off to school few tears were shed (mostly from me) ok so perhaps i am the one having a hard time getting back into the work day to day life
since we were gone our garden sported a LARGE number of maters and sadie and silas have been munching away happily
our computer is still in the works so....i will attach some cuties pictures to this post but it may be some time before i get everything up in the gallery
that is all i have time for today.....day dreaming of moving to the mountains painting and picking apples!
