alright already.....

okay so i know we are a little anxious so i can only imagine everyone else is a little anxious for the arrival of #2
mostly because you all want to know the name right?
well soon enough right?
let's hope....
once again lots of little nothings have been happening
we had two days of spring like weather hitting into the 60's which totally confused the birds and me....
we had a horrible wind storm which meant nothing other than our house is still in one piece with no tree limbs sticking out of it so i suppose that is a good thing
all the snow has melted and we are back in the 30's again with anticipated snow flurries for the next week
what does this mean besides the fact that i just regurgitated the entire weather.com site is...
we have had ample opportunity to be stuck in some bad situations which would only seem the appropriate time to go into labor...but alas i am still waddling through life......
grandma b has arrived and is ready to cook and clean....okay she is ready to play with sadie none stop which makes aaron and i so happy to see her run run run around the house while we sip tea with our feet up.....
life is good
we are planning on going to get dim sum this weekend b/c as you all know i am totally obsessed with turnip cakes....we are also hoping to go to the children's museum on saturday so once again we can watch grandma run run run!
we call this the grandma work out....otherwise known as the quick and easy diet exercise plan for all those who are feeling a little sluggish this winter come on over.....
i did go to the docs and nothing is new.....just growing a big baby
"how big is baby?"
not sure really b/c no one can every really guess the weight but if we were at a carnival and had to guess dr is thinkin/ between 9 and 10 lbs so all is good there
dr is also suggesting a c-section for next wed....so if he decides not to come out sooner will be seeing him next wed for sure!
until than enjoy the days and keep reading.....technology is great and i have found all sorts of new ways of getting things posted even from the car!

full moon in the year of the ox.....

okay the full moon has come and gone and yes.....i am still pregnant
i am still waddling through the streets of downtown cleveland, eating dim sum and dreaming of turnip cakes....(which if you have never had is a must on your next trip to the chinese restaurant)
so really what is happen...(this is also sadie's new phrase "what's happenin")
nothing much....going about business as usually watching as i can balance a soda can on my belly and totally amazed that i am actually bigger than i was with sadie
the house is cleaned....well as clean as it is going to get...the car seats are in the car....still not installed but as i said before progress is progress
i have the bag sort of packed.....so we are ready
sadie has decided sleeping is just a waste of time and is preparing me for the days ahead...
so yes that is why i am updating the blog at 5:00 in the morning....and the scary thing is i have been up for an hour
today is suppose to be 60 degrees out which will be wonderful...all 3 feet of snow has melted
the birds are totally confused and are out there tweeting away......just waiting to see if i can see some crocus than i know....spring is just two months away! right?
anyways we are ready for lots of things here in cleveland.......spring, babies, perhaps a puppy?
sadie has been asking for a puppy...not sure if she knows what a puppy means but....we will get her a baby instead less responsibility right?
on another note she can count to 20 and is actually starting to read.....well sort of.....the first step in reading she can recognize most of the letters in the alphabet her favorites are N O P A and T
she can read her name and of course elmo's .....
we have decided to hold off on the potty training a little longer.....till number 2 is in the picture and we can really work wit hher on it though i am not sure what we will have to do....
she tells us "poop" before she goes, than she says "poop potty" than there is a quiet moment and she concentrates.....runs upstairs grabs a diaper puts it on the changing table and waits...
so she is ready it just we are not yet.....
it typically does not work this way does it?
we had a great weekend playing with amelie and her mama at chucke cheese though i think we were all deaf by the time we left
sadie kept trying to call amelie on her homemade bread phone during dinner
anyways enjoy the day and we will keep you updated as we find things out

one week left and 20 months old!

okay so some days i feel like a broken very broken record....
i think today is one of those days
that and i feel like a water buffalo navigating a rice patty
in conclusion to these rambling thoughts of a large pregnant lady.....
we have one more week to go....
so in the meantime of waiting and counting the days what are we doing?
trying to stay warm! and waiting patiently (okay that's a lie) for spring
spring to us means sadie can run and run and run outside instead of in the house
not that we mind her running in the house but there is only so many miles she can run in our house....
and this baby girl NEEDS to run!
she is speaking a mile a minute now and most of the words are recognizable but there are times in which none of us understand exactly what she is saying so we get the face...
the face that says you guys are crazy
we are now ready for #2
the car seats are in the car...not attached yet but at least they are in the car
the suitcase is now upstairs and out of the basement not packed but once again we are moving forward....progress is progress
the sweaters and blankets are washed and ready to receive....we have toys and rattles and lots and lots of coffee.....(for aaron, mimi and bumpa not for sadie or the baby...though i am sure sadie would love a cup of coffee)
so stay tuned and focused...
i will be working from home most of next week which means i will be lonely (yes i really like going into work)
so.....no new news from the doc.....she asked us not to have him on valentines day just b/c she has plans but she is willing to work around that if need be......
