week 36 - we got a world class traveler

we made it!
we made it to snowy snowy RI and back with out any problems....
sadie grew a new tooth so now she has TWO little bottom feeders
the trip went well sadie slept on the airplane there and ALL the way back
it was great everyone on the plane stated she was a good baby
( i think all the passengers were terrified about being on a plane with a baby....but not one peep out of sadie)
sadie is really moving now
she crawls to something people, furniture, pets anything and she pulls herself up so she can stand than she walks around holding on to what ever it is she pulled herself up on
sometimes she gets overly confident and lets go and thats when the tears start
so we have little black and blue blossoms on her forehead but they are proud marks of a growing baby
sadie got to meet her great uncle cecile
and they played and had fun with her elmo
every time cecile would leave the room sadie would squeal for him to come back
that is her new thing....don't leave the room otherwise you will hear about it
here is a funny story that bumpa told:
sadie and bumpa went to reading class at the local library
and the librarian was talking about what if the animals in the barn yard get a cold
what would a rooster say?
cock a doodle chooooooo
what would a cow say?
moooo choooooo
sadie with delight stood up in the middle of the class and said with confidence
"ENIMOLS" (meaning animals)
than she sat back down and they continued with animals sneezing noises
here she is playing the piano with mimi:

the two have touched!

wanted to drop a quick note sadie is sleeping and emily is cooing in grandma's arm
the trip went well
sadie slept on the plane and played with the teenage girls coat that was sitting next to us
so on a scale of 1 to 10 the air plane travel was a 10!
ALL the passengers were surprised at how good sadie was
well got to keep this short but sadie and emily have been playing
emily is showing sadie how to keep her shoes on and how she can sip from a sippy cup!
here is a few pictures from the trip
will write more when we land back in cleveland
until than....

week 35 - uh oh!

the word of the week is uh oh!
in one week sadie has learned how to stand up from a sitting position without holding onto anything and actually stand for less than a minute before toppling over
her crawling has gained speed leaving us all running after her as she eye balls all the things she is not suppose to play with
sometimes i wonder how toy stores stay in business when babies prefer outlets, wax paper, keys, cell phones and of course remote controls
we are getting ready for out trip to rhode island to meet aunt holly uncle john and cousin emily
heres a picture of cousin emily (think sadie has competition for cutieness!)
so what to pack and how easy will be it be to get through security?
ah you would think i would have a plan....i am in the process of creating a plan.....this is what i have so far
bring sadie and don't pack her in the luggage right?
anyways i am going to wear sadie in her front pack
i have books to read to her on the plane small toys she can chew on and a couple of sippy cups and binkies.....so i think that is covered
i am planning on packing 5 sleepers, 5 outfits, 1 jacket, diapers, bath time books, bath time soap, organic string cheese and organic purely O's
that should cover everything if not
rhode island is the home base for CVS so can pick up any loose ends right?
(for all the safety minded individuals out there there is a car seat waiting for us in RI so we got that covered)
wish us luck and stay tuned we might get a chance to update with pictures etc during the trip
PS. don't forget this weekend is a rocking weekend at the beachland ballroom on saturday night aaron's band the lawton brothers will be playing go check out the rockin' daddy
the following movie is of mimi cracking sadie up before music class
that is the other thing sadie does now she cracks her self up when she spits her food out or she watches her adults doing silly things!
