Week 24 - winter of our content !

lets see......we did not write anything for week 23 of baby development but...all is good she is kickin' and punchin' and she is growing. she is about a foot long and is getting chubby! so is momma as you can see tying shoes is becoming a task and bec keeps walking into walls because she can not figure out how big she is, which is amusing to everyone but bec.

lots of things have happened the past two weeks so lets begin the stories.
papa aaron played in his country band on saturday night which was lots of fun we stayed out until 3:00 am which for bec is way way past her bed but as soon as aaron got up on stage and starting playing little baby girl starting kickin' to the beat of the songs, so she has rhythm! that sunday we went to IKEA and bought the cutest little night light but mostly we bought things to help organize our little house. speaking of our little house.......we got covered in SNOW!

it started snowing yesterday (tuesday) and finally stopped snowing but not until 4 feet of snow covered us! which was okay because aaron and bec both had snow days....

which means aaron became a snow bunny trying to find our cars and bec sanded the walls in the dining room, and started priming the walls! soon we will have a house with actual rooms!

this will not be a typical baby shower think bbq chicken, bocce ball, and a keg . this shower is co-ed and everyone is invited to help us celebrate our little baby girl before our life is completely altered and you will never see us again unless we have a diaper or drool on shoulder.

the nursery: still working on the nursery have some new ideas to bring to the old ideas. instead of painting a tree with leaves what about cut out pieces of wallpaper for leaves? so if anyone has any good, bad or ugly wallpaper send it our way

FREEEEZZZZEEEE WEEEK!

okay this has nothing to do with baby this has to do with the fact that we live in cleveland and it is super cold out.

story of the week:
our thermocouple died on sunday when the wind chill was say -25 degrees
so our house was 41 degrees and the cat....well she was a popsicat
we started a fire in the fire place turned the heat up to 70 degrees pressed the red button on our thermocouple and and waited......
finally went to bed the house was at a warm 51 degrees!
woke up the next morning to the cat wrapped around aaron's face and another 41 degrees
coffee i think is over rated if you really want to wake up quickly wake up to house you can see your breath in
all is good today aaron ignored the warning signs of electrocution and twisted two wires together until the boiler guy could come out and replace our thermocouple now we sit in a warm 61 degree house
ah winter in cleveland wish we were in hawaii with the family

Week 22

ITS BIGGER!
the other day aaron actually had to put becky's socks on.
not much to say this week got lots of pictures though.
we had a fun morning the other day frankie our "not"cat was chased out of the house because a bird decided to come in.
the reason this story if ironic is frankie usually leaves bits and pieces of birds on our front porch every day during the summer, so the fact that she got scared by a bird well.......not sure what to think.
Had a doctors appointment yesterday and was able to hear her little heart beat which is still super fast. next month i get to take the diabetes test which means i drink 10 fl oz of "lemon lime" drink which sounds like oh so much fun. i also talked with my doctor about the fat baby syndrome that seems to run in our family......
yup i was a big baby, looked more like the michelin man than a baby almost 11 lbs!
so my doctor said the only way to keep the babies weight down was to either take up crack or start chain smoking neither of which she recommended. the best i was told was we would have to wait until i go into labor to to find out if i am giving birth to a porker.
everything else is good baby is kicking and mom is getting kicked.
we have been working on the house:

our dining room wall which we finally have, and our stairs are finally finished!
the last couple of weeks cleveland finally got snow and lots of it so here is a picture of our little house all dressed in white
